The year was 2002 and I was grossly overweight. I was not feeling good about myself. I pushed myself to a mix of exercise and healthy eating and soon it developed into a habit. I lost 16 kgs, gained confidence and I found my life ambition. I wanted to help other people with the same condition.


Soon after, I went to Florida and studied 'Food Sciences and Human Nutrition'. I gained extensive clinical experience by working in the dietetics department of a leading hospital in Chicago. I traversed the Cardiac Wards, the Critical and Surgical Care units and worked extensively on medical teams that guided and monitored the progress of patients on Nutritional support. 


Along the way, I became an RDN - A Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist of the American Dietetic Association (Academy of Dietetics and Nutrition, USA).


I returned to my hometown Ahmedabad and started practicing in 2010. Since then, I have been counseling individuals for Weight Management, Diabetes Management, Hypertension, Sports Nutrition, Paediatric Nutrition and much more. It has been quite a rewarding and fulfilling journey so far. The greatest satisfaction that I have received is in actually seeing the quality of change that I have brought about in my capacity as a Nutritionist. 


It is my firm belief that lifestyle choices and moderation are the key to good health. I also believe that each person is unique and so I make bespoke programs for every individual - Delicious dietary interventions balanced with Active Lifestyle suggestions. 


My personal life revolves around my family and my other passion - Dance. Trained in Jazz, Salsa, and ballet, I lose no opportunity in putting my dancing shoes on. I also love cooking and experimenting with healthy recipes which are tasty and nutritious.
